Giant Sand Dollars & other beachy stuff

A couple of mornings ago, Bob said that he wanted to take a walk on the beach, so he could find his own souvenir sand dollar.  We mentioned that they are scarce, and often, we are lucky to find one in a week.


So, off we went, and it was a good day for shells and colorful rocks...seems the tide had uncovered some more goodies...and amazingly enough, right in his path Bob let out a whoop, stooped down, and came up with a perfect sand dollar!!!

Not only did Bob find this perfect large sand dollar, but he found two silver dollar sized ones that Rox and I had never seen on this beach...so a good day...

Here we are having lunch in the owner's "box" at a luxury condo and restaurant complex, just in front of a surf competition...




We took a ride out in the country to see some of the nicer estates, farms, ranches, and lots of greenery...but this mommy Brahma was the most photogenic...
