Saturday Morning at the People's Market

Well, first we went off to Supermaxi, our regular supermarket, where we even have a discount card...(eat your heart our Safeway...), trying to get in the doors right at 9:30, 'cause today is Saturday and the first weekend of the month.  We got all of the junk we needed to set up the larder, in about 15 minutes, checked out, and even got a free gift of Marmelade.  When we loaded up, the lot was absolutely full with folks waiting to jump into our spot...we felt really smart...

Then, off we went to the people's Market, where all the indigineous people bring in tons of fruits and veggies, clothes, and all kinds of knick knacks...with the hope of getting a couple of wall hangings, and a few pics...

Here are a few showing the morning activities...most are pretty self-explanatory...

This couple was from Belgium and were buying four hammocks...

Rox liked these flute players so much, that she bought the CD...a lot like Kenny G...

Plus, Rox looked at a bunch of wall hanging stuff...

Everyday is wash day, when there are numerous ninos...
