Head cold remedy

Howdy folks...just had to pass on this little goodie...

I, and about everyone in Ecuador seems to be dealing with a stubborn little head cold, complete with cough and the potential for an ugly sinus infection.  It is obviously airborne, or spread with contact, but it is super contagious.  As I was Googling for some hints about how to treat it, I see that there is a lot of it in the US, also...

So, here goes...

You can always get antibiotics, but I found this nifty little remedy...

All it is is saline solution...or warm salt water mixed one cup to 1/2 tsp of salt.  You have to get this solution into your nostrils and into your nasal passages.  There are lots of ways to do this, but the easiest is to make about two cups, put it into a soup bowl, dip a wash cloth into it, wring it out a little, tilt you head back and breathe in deeply.

I did this about five minutes ago, and feel better than I have for over a week.  So...a word to the wise...

Hope none of you have to use it, but, what the hey?  It Works!!!
