The Fun just keeps going on!!!

Well, we had a nice visit from a gentleman that we met in Cuenca when Bob and Jan were visiting.  Romero and his son Daniel, and his sister and her husband were in Montanita to celebrate the conclusion of a real estate transaction, and they called us up for a little get-together...

These folks are Ecuadorian by birth, but have lived in Canada for decades...so, we invited them over to see our place and to have a few sips of something cold...take a look...here is Daniel taken as the sun was setting...

Plus, I really liked this father and son pic, lots of love there...

A little later, they graciously invited us to be their guests at the Casa Blanca for Dinner, and we were thrilled to accept...take a look...

We had a great dinner, lots of fun talking, and were treated to sights of juggling, unicycle riding where one kid rides on the other kid's stomach, and the jugglers use flaming batons.   We finally broke up about 9:30 pm, as the Casa Blanca was gearing up to do 53 dinners all at once...

Hector, Kelly, a double kitchen staff, the owners, a bunch of bartenders were  charging around getting ready, as we left...

Montanita is absolutely filled with party goers...just about every kind of dress from evening gowns to bikinis was on display tonight...

But, remembering the Bartender's creed that "New Year's Eve is Amature Night"..we reluctantly said goodby to our hosts, and carefully drove home, where Isidro was pacing the driveway, waiting to let us in.

We are considering a looksee at Montanita in the morning...so, we will let fireworks lull us to sleep...
