A few photos and a couple of comments...

The ATM, where we get our dough in Montanita, is located in the largest hotel in the town, and recently, they decided to put in a rock and roll restaurant ((Another Hard Rock?).  Anyway they are hiring an artist from Guayaquil to decorate the exterior and interior...take a look...

Here is their sandwich board announcing the coming attraction...

I am an native English speaker, and I don't routinely use the word "Gastronomy"--I wonder just whom this sign is designed to attract...

Right near where we stop for lunch each Wednesday, there is a new building going up...this is their choice of subjects for decorating their security wall...

Now the crab I can understand...but...

Now, you can see that the artist spent a lot of time making this scorpion look realistic (he's about 6 feet wide), but I have to wonder about the choice of a subject on a residential security wall???

I continue to say that Ecuadoreans love the USA, and here again is a picture on a newly painted bus...Maybe it's time for the US to love Ecuador back a little...

If you take a look at the blacktop, you will get an idea of what the Ruta del Sol will look like all up and down the Coast...

We have a few baby iguanas, and here is one of them sleeping just below a bedroom window...

Take a look and Coquita reenacting the "Princess and the Pea"

Rox shot this sunset just as we were sitting down to eat...pretty cool...
