Making our own "Kick-a-poo Joy Juice" ...

I am not a great fan of coconut "milk", but Vee, Ward and Rolanda all wanted to see what it tasted like, and since we have about 700 sitting in the coco-palms, we arranged for Isidro to scamper up and get a few...take a look...

Now Isidro is a genius with that machete, and is able to whittle off the end, find the little plug of meat, and gently pry it open with a flick of his wrist...

Here they go sampling the "nectar"...

This picture is self-explanatory...

When that machete comes down to split the coconut...it is good to know where your thumb is...

Isidro scooped out the meat into that stainless steel container, and we all traipsed up to the kitchen to watch Agripina in action...

A few glugs of brandy and a cup of wine just to enhance the brew...(sugar, too)

Everyone said that this was just a great way to use up extra coconuts...

I asked Agripina just what the Spanish word for this concoction was, and she replied in Spanish "Coco milk and meat with brandy and white wine"...I guess if we have just invented a new drink, we might have to shorten it a tad.  We all had a lot of laughs and a really fun time slurping up the Juice...even had sidecar seconds...
