Fun and Food around the Coast...

Well, I had a lot of pretty interesting photos remaining, so this will be a hodgepodge of scenes and fun stuff that didn't have its own category before...Here are a few showing us having fun...

And I would be remiss if I didn't thank Vee and Rolanda for taking a bunch of the photos that you see here and for generously letting me use their camera chip to pirate a lot of their good stuff...so thanks mucho guys...

'Course...we always spend time drinking and talking...in this case listening...

We are getting setup to order dinner again at the Casa Blanca...Coquita now gets her own chair...

On this evening everyone absolutely raved about the food...for good reason!!!  All ingredients were cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and served pipping hot...and at the same time...a rarity in Ecuador...

Vee took a pretty nice picture of us...so here it is...

A couple of shots on a rainy day in Montanita...during the "dry" season!         In fact, we got almost no rain this year in the "wet" season...El Nino is here in full force,  and just in case anybody's listening, it will hit the US and Canada in December...so do your home work and get prepared!!!

Here is a shot that we call Coquita's First Birthday picture...she is now beginning her second year, and it's hard to believe that such a small package can be such a huge force in our household...

I call this my "short order cook" picture, since it shows five humongous burgers being served up all at once...it is what we call our "hamburger dinner", and it sort of has to be eaten with a fork, in that you get a huge patty covered with cheese & sauteed mushrooms, all on a big bun...and a fist full of lettuce, a whole tomato sliced up and diced, and steak fries--this way you can continue to get a little bit of all items in a traditional hamburger all the way to the end.  I also dice up an onion and mix it up with the raw hamburger, so you also get your onion fix...

This sassy young girl must know that she will soon be growing into a beautiful young lady...as follows.

I'm not sure whether these little chicas are more attracted to Coquita or Roxanne, but they surely make a very pretty ensemble...

Turns out Coquita is a Bichon Frise, and not a mini Poodle as we thot...here she is meeting another little angel...

Rolanda couldn't let this truck just drive away--not with a name like that!!!

And, speaking of trucks...here is the "boat truck" that we have featured so often...

These dice players all wanted Vee to take their picture...and were thrilled to see how they looked when they saw the screen.
