Concrete Work...fast and furious!

The guys have been tasked with cutting out a section of counter, for the stove, which is an inch of marble and 5 inches of concrete full of re-bar.  They also have to drop the view window  in front of the bed by 10 inches, so that our guests can lie in bed and watch the waves break.  This involves cutting out a section five feet wide and 10 inches deep, and then plastering it back up nice and smooth for installation of the new windows.  Take a look...

This is the cutout for the stove...

Here is Manual plastering the windowsill after reducing the lower part by 10 inches...

Now, both of these jobs created a hellish enviornment of fine dust that went everywhere, but the worst by far, is the present job being done by Alfredo, where he is using the diamond blade to score the old tile so the the mastic used to put the new tile down, will hold securely.

How about some prettier subjects?

Here's Rox and Gina modeling their new swimsuit coverups...(Thanks mucho Gina--Rox says)

We brought the new chairs upstairs to keep them out of the dust, and Rox tried out one of our cushions, which was approved by Coquita...

If you are really clever...you might see a sample of the new tile for the suite somewhere in the photo...
