« We begin our 43rd anniversary celebration by picking up friends of 41 years at Guayaquil AP! | Main | Sweet Progress on the "Suite on the Beach"! »

The Suite on the Beach comes in on Time, and on Budget!

When we began showing photos like the following couple, it is easy to understand why a person might not believe that the Suite would be ready in 30 days.

Take a look at these befores:

 These were taken today:

The first is our traditional shot of all the workers on the "closing day"...

And here are some interior shots to let you see the finished product...

We actually went over our original budget, but that was because we upgraded in several areas that we felt would be more pleasing to our guests... we figured it was worth it.

At the moment, we plan to rent the Suite out by the night, with a three night minimum.  We will accept a well-behaved pet, with an additional security deposit.

We make it easy for you, as we accept Pay/Pal.

We are thinking that there might be several folks in the Northern hemisphere and in Cuenca, who would like to shuck their "long pants", put on a pair of shorts and wiggle their toes in bathtub warm ocean waves.

And...if you suffer from arthritis, you might find incredible relief from our wet brand of heat.  Several of our friends just quit taking their expensive medication during their stay with us.

Just a little reminder:  The Suite contains a fully equipped kitchen, so you don't have to run to town for every bite...just make what you want!

Here is Rox just savoring her results...

Please drop us an email at : bobnrox@gmail.com   If you would like pricing info, or details regarding just about anything else.

And...don't forget...we live just three K's from Montanita, the people watching capital of Ecuador!  High season is beginning now...so...see you soon!

As we were shooting these Suite pics, we were treated to a glorious sunset over the water...here are our dueling sunset photos...

I tightened up this shot to show the boat the the sun looking a comet...

Rox took these two from the front door of the new Suite...

WOW!! You guys have done it again. Just beautiful, but we're not surprised. We're remembering the fantastic renovation/decorating jobs you did in the past, too. (Your Bear Wallow resort and our Red Mountain house in Oregon).
Your special eye for color and texture, as well as functionality, is a real talent.
Congrats yet again for a job well done!
Love, Nancy and Rich

You did a nice job of the picture that was scanned. It looks wonderful.

Cheers. Peter

Hi Peter and Shelagh...

We were going to write you, but you beat us to it! Of course the picture looks wonderful! However, you modestly fotgot to mention that you guys were responsible for taking a photo that I took, scanned to you, then you mysteriously enlarged it to actual canvas, without losing any of the flavor of the product! Then you sent it back through Ecuador customs without a cent due in duty.

We are proud to display it in the new Suite--it looks just right there.

And, of course, we wish to publicly thank you both for doing such an artistic job,to boot!

If any of you folks reading this blog wish to have the same treatment for a photo that you treasure, just write to Shelagh and Peter at the above email address...

Thanks again,

Bob & Roxanne

Wow! I have been reading your blog for awhile, and am itching to go visit your corner of paradise. Now, if I can convince my husband!!! My plan is to go sometime in 2012, probably August or so. Is August a good time in you area? How is the heat?
