Fun in the Sun--Take a look!

This entry is a catch up of all the fun stuff that we have been doing, while catching our breath...

Every year, we invite our live-in help up for Christmas drinks and give them some openers, some bourbon and coke, and something that they need for their house...here we go...

They do some entertaining in their dining room, but their living room has always seemed a bit bare, so this year we gave them some "Ecuadorian" easy chairs, so that they can get comfortable while watching TV, etc

We share Ecuador with a lot of critters...here are some shots taken in the last couple of days...

As you can see, Lorraine doesn't exactly like sharing her food dish with that young iguana...

Lots of domestic animals roam free here...

'Course, these Brahmas sort of go just where they wish...

Shell and Marsha's daughter Ami, is visiting.  We know she is a great sport, in that she still has a terrific sense of humor, while her luggage is "safe" in Miami...She did say, however, that wearing dad's Tee shirts isn't exactly Rodeo Drive...

We had a lot of fun getting to know one another, and felt it was a good sign that the sunset was one of the nicest we've ever seen!  It complimented Rox's dinner perfectly...PLUS...everyone, but Marsha, saw the famous "Green Flash"!!

And finally...I was going to pass on this, this year, but Rich and Nancy's nice blog entry sort of let the cat out of the bag...I was going to just quit counting these dang birthdays...they seem to come around too fast!  So thanks guys for the nice card and phone call, too!

But...the surprise of the day was when Agripina and Isidro showed up this afternoon with a lot of family members, and brought a really nice home made, chicken Lasagna for my birthday dinner.

And if that wasn't enough, they tuned up and sang "Happy Birthday" to me IN ENGLISH!

Talk about a movable feast!  I get to have the special dinner that Rox was cooking for tonight, on Thursday night, and then It's New Year's Eve at the Casa Blanca!

So...do you think I want to stop this Merry-go-Round?  Not on your life!!!
