El Nino Waves and a 5 Day Holiday!!! What more could the Coast hope for?

Rox and I are enjoying the magnificent weather, and are a little anxious to see if our boulders and sandbags will actually do the job against huge waves...also, we have Carnival happening on Monday and Tuesday...so...Montanita will again be inundated with crowds and cars that it has no hope of handling.

And we are waiting for Game Day--the 14th...That's the first day we are scheduled for the really big waves--sort of like practicing all week, but knowing that Sunday is when it counts...

We will be taking lots of photos to show what happens...we are just at the butterfly stage right now...

You kept saying "El Nino".
What made you having religious conviction for that hypothesis. Your blog would be more classy without the words. Or sounds like Al Gore.

When the Pacific is five degrees higher than normal, and that is equal to the devasting "El Nino" of 1997, it is easy to make the connection.
