Waiting for the new kitchen...but not doing nothing...

Since we have the shell of the kitchen ready, but still have to wait for cabinets and counter tops, we decided to have all the hardwood floors redone...this wood is so hard that no nail can penetrate.  Must be pre-drilled.  Manuel says that even with using the maximum coarseness sanding disk, it still takes a lot of work...

 

Alfredo, (Papa Noel), has been busy repainting the front of the house and the overhanging roof-line.  Our continuous onshore flow of salt air sort of eats paint like a kid licks cotton candy...

Rox had mixed and painted the brick work previously...

But, even if the place is torn up, we still manage to make dinner in the transplanted kitchen, now in the office, and enjoy these fabulous sunsets provided my Mother Nature...
