A reunion with our first Spanish "Profesora"

If you will read back to our earlier entries, you will see that we went to language school in Manta, and that Karen was our teacher.  Well, she did wonders getting our old brains jump-started to try to learn Spanish.  We will never quit learning, and probably never will be "fluent", but we can get by pretty well most of the time.

The good news is that the Spanish school in Manta has merged with the Montanita Spanish School in Montanita, and they are doing so well, that they were named one of the top five Spanish schools in the world in London last year.  http://www.montanitaspanishschool.com/

And...Karen has moved to Montanita, so we will see her a lot more often!!!

Here she is posing with Rox, just before we went in for dinner last night.

We're looking forward to more fun get togethers, as we haven't quite finished "solving all the world's problems" yet.

I agree with you Bob, we have to continue "solving all the world's problems", I really enjoy spending that afternoon with Rox, you and Coquita, great place, great food, and of course really good friends. Thank you for inviting me to your place.
A hug,
