When the water is warmer than the air...

Yesterday, I joined Rox for part of her daily walk, and was pleasantly surprised to find that, even though the overcast had cooled the air, that the waves were just bathtub temperature.  We grew up in Northern California, and all of our memories of wading in the ocean centered on the idea that first our feet and legs had to get numb from the cold, before we could have fun in the water.  Yesterday, there was no shock of entry at all--just a feel good feeling...

I think the best part of this photo is the anaconda on the shirt I am wearing...

The horses joined us later...
