Mega-Fun at Tiesto's...Yummmm!!!!

Everyone swears about how great Tiesto's is, and we hoped that we would not be oversold and disappointed, but we were charmed from the second we arrived this evening.

The decor is just great...lots of great and colorful paintings, rough textured walls, so much that the place just screamed "class"...but, the fun kind...

Here are some shots of us having a ball with Chuck and Nancy who write such a great blog...

The way they do it here is that you order a "tiesto" which is a super-hot ceramic dish that comes boiling to the table and serves four...the six of us ordered two, and it seemed that we got a lot more, what with all the little side dishes everywhere...

One dish was delicious chicken and the other was fillet mignon--melted in your mouth!!!

Oh Yeah!!! We are going to have fun!!!

Our waiter had a different way of speaking Spanish, so I asked him where he was from, and he told us that he had been in Cuenca for two years, and had grown up in the Orient, which is the "selva" or jungle.  Nice guy, great waiter...

This Norwegian mom dropped by as her daughter was flirting with Chuck and Nancy...

We had ice cream for dessert, but it came in a dish that would make Alice Waters turn green with envy!  These designs are not part of the plate pattern, they are custom made for each dessert!!!

And...here is the artista herself, showing off her latest for the next lucky dessert client...

After such a fun experience, we had to pose with the owner-chef...

A shot of the kitchen--it even looks sexy...

A not very good shot of a terrific piece of art...

Hi Yusuf...
The restaurant is located on Jaramillo (7-34) between Borrero and Hermano Miguel. I Googled it for the address and found a ton of positive reviews. I wasn't exactly trying to do a restaurant review--it was more to record a good time...There are muchos folks doing reviews...
Thanks for writing...
