A Nice Thanksgiving with Nice Folks...

This year were were happy to welcome Shell and Marsha and Robert and Jilleen, our suite guests, for a relaxing Thanksgiving dinner.   There was fun conversation, Robert and Jilleen recounted stories of their past year's of world travel, including extended time in Fiji and Turkey.  They are really interested in the Ecuador Coast, so we all had plenty of info to pass on to them.

The turkey and mashed potatoes turned out just fine, and was complemented with Marsha's family favorite of down home dressing, while Jilleen brought a vegetable dish with definite roots in Turkey (the country, not the bird!!!).

No one had any excuse for going hungry, as there was enough food for a small army...

We had ice cream slathered over a nice little cake designed by the Colombian bakery in Montanita, so when it was all over and done, all we had to do was roll on home...

All in all, a fun day and a nice evening...

This is the sunset we were treated to as we celebrated our 44th anniversary a few days ago...Why go out, when this is the view from our own dining room...
