Holiday Fun just keeps on comin'...

This Christmas, during our Christmas get-together, we had lots of drinks and laughs with Agripina and Isidro, our resident helpers.  Rox began the present giving, by bringing out lots of new bath towels, special bathing lotions, and a lot of other basic everyday stuff like toothpaste, etc.  After these gifts were opened, we hauled out the big goodie, a new water heater and gas tank for their new shower...

This may not sound like such a big deal, until one realizes that they have lived in these quarters for over 20 years and never had hot water!  This year they can enjoy nice hot showers during those cool July mornings...

The day after the Kid's Christmas Party, I usually head on down to get our party photos made up into enlargements, so that each family may have a photo of their child with Papa Noel.  (sometimes, this is the only photo of their child that they have for that year).

This year, there were so many pictures, that I waited one more day, just to get it all organized.  I need to be there when Digital Photo Express opens up, so I can get my order running on their machine.  The hard part is to be present during the printing of all 528 photos.  Our job takes about 2 hours, and they put other smaller jobs into the middle of ours, if I am not lurking around.

Here is a shot of the guys work on our photos.  They filled up those little compartments on the machine, many times...

As you can see these were done on Christmas Eve day--After Christmas, it would have been impossible...

Here is Rox loading over 500 photos into photo sleeves, so that they will better withstand the salt air, and lots of finger prints...

This year, we were fortunate to have Robert and Jilleen, two new friends who are moving to the Coast, over for Christmas dinner, and to observe our "private" Christmas songfest.

A real treat was getting to listen to a bunch of songs all sung by the local young people, right down in the patio of our new suite.  They sing with enthusiasm, because the acoustics on that patio make them sound just like all of them are "singing in the shower"...they even come with live musicians with plenty of amplification...

It was a bonus that we were all able to watch such enthusiastic young people sing all their favorite Christmas songs...

After the movable chorus left, we spent more time enjoying the aroma of balmy ocean air, and a fun sunset...
