Tired of "Ol Man Winter"???, Now is the perfect time to "Come On Down"!!!

As we near the conclusion of our "high season" here at the Coast, we are getting our best weather of the year...The sun is tilting more and more toward the North, and we have cooler days and perfect sleeping nights.

The ocean is as warm as a bathtub, and the air is perfect for sunbathing in not much, or touring in shorts and sandals...There is no fog, ever...and no seaweed!

In the next few weeks, we have some holes in the New Suite's calendar, and this entry is designed to help you and your special "other" to "come on down" and get some sun and fun!

http://www.vrbo.com/332018 will take you to our  Vacation Rental By Owner website, where you can see more photos of the Suite, and read some of the nice reviews we have received from some really nice guests...

Here are some shots to get you thinking "warm sand in my toes"!

Looking north for your 30 minute beach walk to Montanita...

Looking South where it seem as if you can walk forever...learn to boogie board...with no pesky witnesses...

You can make your own meals, sit and watch the waves, while keeping up with CNN & HBO, etc... (or not...)

Some of our guests take a lot of their meals in the outside patio...

Here is an interior pano shot...

You can cook what you wish, and not pictured is a decent sized fridge for keeping food and beverages nice and cold...

The bath is brand new and features a shower big enough for two, and plenty of hot water from a hot water tank (not a sporadic "hot on demand" heater).

Please click here to see details for booking the Suite, and read some of the reviews that make us proud.

And...it's easy to get here...just fly into Guayaquil, take a taxi to the main bus station, take the 1:00 Executive Direct bus (Libertad Peninsula) right to our Manglaralto turnoff, which brings you to within 100 yards of our front gate...or rent a car at the AP and make the 2.5 hour drive yourself...just take the exit to the Hospital...

Now...doesn't that beat shoveling snow, or having your skin shrivel up from so much rain???

Hey, guys, the Suite is looking better and better. Kathy and I are in the process of selling our house, it's been a month, two offers that didn't pan out, and 3 open houses. It's getting old already, LOL. Our plans have changed a little, though.

Once we sell, we plan on buying a small house in the Carolinas to be near our oldest son, with first grandchild on the way. We may have to work selling real estate for 3 years or so, before we move full time to Playas, but we still plan to spend 3 months a year in high season in Ecuador and avoid most of the winter in the States.

We plan on coming down for a while after we get settled in the Carolinas, so we will make a reservation, stay in the Suite, and explore more of the area.

All the best,

JR and Kathy

Hi JR and Kathy...
Good to hear from you again...also, good luck with your home sale, your plans to move to the Carolinas, and future plans to be neighbors...

After all this time, it would be nice to meet you face to face.

Thanks for writing...
