A Few Snippets from the Coast...

In the last couple of weeks, we have taken several shots around the Coast, and they have been clamoring to get out of the camera and onto the blog...here they are...

Agripina had a birthday, so we had her and Isidro up for drinks and presents--We think they like the bourbon and cokes just as much as the new iron and chaise lounge...

The necklace that she is wearing is a gift from Rich and Nancy, a lifetime ago...

Their son Alfredo, who is Papa Noel at Christmas, has been busy helping build a beautiful beach home for Shell and Marsha, so we all jumped in the car for a visit to the site, so Mom and Dad, can see, firsthand, the job that makes Alfredo so proud...

Here is a shot of our Suite guests Ken and Kathy, from Ontario, who will be taking this executive bus from Olon to the main bus terminal in Guayaquil.  From there it is a short cab ride to the AP.  We take them up to get tickets the day before, so they can have a choice of their seat assignment, and also don't have to wait in the crowded bus station in Montanita.

A few shots from our deck show that we get other critters besides those wrapped up in tiny bikinis...

This morning shot showed the shadow of the coconut palms that tower over our house...

Cows showed up for their morning walk...

This heron is a little more popular here than he used to be by our Koi pond in Oregon...

These young ladies cooled down after working on their tans...

And...this was the sunset--all seen as we lounged on our deck...

Rox collects shells on her morning walk, and usually incorporates them into decorations and accent pieces...here are some large sand dollars painted and mounted.  She also made the "cozy" for the five gallon fresh water jug...
