Isidro has another birthday--the fifth we've celebrated together!

Agripina and Isidro live on our property, and are amazingly helpful to us in dozens of ways.  It's hard to believe that our little get-together last night was our fifth one!  He still looks pretty darn good for age 64!

Here are a few shots of us enjoying drinks on the deck, as Rox passes over his presents.

It may sound funny, but we also give them beers and ice cream to take back to their home, so that they can continue their celebration...

Coquita is their big buddy, so she has to be included...

Isidro, also sells fish to restaurants and families, so we figure that this "filet" knife will be put to good use...

We all agreed that he is now the "macho man"...

Good fun, and a good time...

Bob & Rox,

I've done it! I found your blog a couple weeks ago and after randomly selecting a few entries decided that I had to start from the beginning. I did just that, I've now read every single post and message on your blog.

All I can say is wow, you two are truly blessed. As my wife and I approach retirement age we hope to replicate some of the adventure and joy you and Rox have found.

After having read all of your posts I still have a couple of questions. How and why did you choose Ecuador over other locations. You've traveled all over the world, why Ecuador? Did you consider anyplace else?

Regards,
Troy
