« A Sexy new patio arises from a half-filled sandbox... | Main | It's more than fitting, that our great work crew, be our first deck guests! »

We get a new deck--The Suite gets a brand new beach-side Patio...

This morning was one of those great ones, where the blue sky had a tinge of wispy clouds that all reached out to the horizon of a beautiful ocean where mellow waves were colored with the golden rays of the sun rising in the East... (Yeah, I know..."throw the pig over the fence some corn on the ear")

Here's a shot of where we will be drinking our morning coffee, just as soon as I take Coquita out for a little business...

A little closer...

We've decided that, even though the Suite has the largest patio known to man, that it needed a new intimate one, perched right next to the beach--so take a look at what progress the guys made yesterday...

As you can see, our guests will now have a choice of lounging or sitting in the shady part of the patio, or moving out closer to the beach, to get some really private sun bathing time...

These are the 597 interlocking blocks that will be laid, after the guys haul up enough beach sand, bucket by bucket,  to fill in the quadrangle...

Here's a closer look at the blocks...

We figure this patio will also double as a romantic spot for a beach-side dinner.  Alfredo installed a couple of nice low wattage lanterns on the inside of the outer-most pillars.  Rox is deciding whether to have a straw covered, lo-wattage light hanging over the middle.  Stay tuned for the exciting decision...

Wow, it looks sooo nice. I bet you miss the view of the coconut trees. It seems so wide open now without them. I hope some day to make it down that way and squeeze and invite to try out your deck with you!

After watching all this new construction and now the decks and patios, I've decided to move you near the top of my bucket list. Bob...everything you guys do is soooo first class. Even the new SUV. Now I understand the Vette ownership. Bye the bye, whatever happened to the apt. in Cuenca? Did you move it? Anywhooo, everything looks so great and the best part is you're back on the net with regularity. Keep it up and stay healthy. I'll get out of Texas someday and show up for a visit. your pal, El L
