The Kid's Christmas Party 2013 was FABULOUS!!!

After working on the preparations for the Kid's Christmas Party for over three months, it all came together like a well-oiled machine on Game Day!  We can tell the story with just some of the 2000 photos that were taken.

Here's Roxanne with Coquita just before the crew arrives.  She had to try sitting on those little bitty stools that are used at most weddings and social gatherings.

The guys start setting up 175 tables each with three little stools.

Rox and the guys cut up plastic for colorful tablecloths...

Manuel is supervising the placement of the Santa's Workshop siding...

Little by little the "banquet room" takes shape...

Rox made bows for all the trees and the guys are busy blowing up 50 balloons to go with them...That's Papa Noel doing the heavy lifting...

We borrowed a bunch of lumber and saw-horses from Tim and Janet...Jilleen, on the right fed Roxanne the appropriate gift for each child.

The guys formed a bucket brigade, to bring down 375 gift bags.  We had those filled bags,  covering every surface in our house,  for several days...

Here is why we needed the saw-horses...still had to put over 100 gift bags on the floor...

While all of us are getting the gifts ready, and the place looking good, the ladies are peeling the plastic skin off of 525 wieners...

Ami brought down inflatable Christmas figures, which immediately became "snapshot heaven"...

After most of the families arrived, it looked like this...

Happy folks watching the door go up and Papa Noel approaching to say hello!

Papa Noel gave all the kids and moms a personal greeting...

Waiting patiently for a turn to sit on Papa Noel's lap...

Someone got a shot of Rox and Me just before the "balloon went up"

These are just a very few of the 350 kids that graced Papa Noel's lap this afternoon...

And...here's a few shots of the kids playing with their goodies...(a boy with a boy toy)

Just had to take a shot of me trying to coax a smile from another cute nino.

Here's a few candids as the party gets into full swing...

Carley's "Dancing Sheila" doll actually has a boombox that belts out rock and roll!!!

This happy crowd ate every bite of every hot dog, all the chips, and over 175 liters of Pepsi!!!

Here's the production line for dogs and chips...

Not one bite went to waste!

Take a look at a few more shots of happy people...

We couldn't do most of this without the total support of Agripina and her whole family!

This is just a few of the people who could spare a minute to pose...the rest of the good folks are still hard at work making this party hum right along!!!

Also want to thank Robert and Eric for those terrific photos!!!

This year's party was bigger and more fun than ever.  Naturally, on game day, we need a lot of help to carry it off.

However, none of this could happen if it wasn't for the wonderful support of a bunch of you blog readers, our relatives, and our wonderful friends...

You made it happen!

So, if old man winter is getting you down, or if you are seeing the beginning of the "Christmas Blues", please remember that your contribution to this party made these smiles as big as they are!

Roxanne and I can not thank you all enough for your support over the last several years--You have certainly made our day!!!  (over and over)
