Good News is Good for You--and Conversely???

Don't quite know how to start this, so I'll just go and see what happens...

We used to be CNN junkies, and pretty much had it going in the background most of the day...many times Rox would see me just walking by and observing some snippet for about 3 seconds and see my blood pressure shoot right up...as everyone knows, really bad, and horrible, and scary news sells papers (and keeps the populace docile)...good news on the other hand is kind of boring, but it certainly can make you feel good inside...cause mostly people are pretty darn good to their families, their friends, and even the citizens of other countries, that their own government is currently on the outs with...

We have only seen CNN for about 15 minutes about a week ago in a hotel room, and all I can say is that the ol' phrase, "the best thing about being hit on the head with a hammer, is that it feels so good when it stops...

So..why am I going on like this...well Art sent me a website that shows bad stuff happening all over the world, updated every five minutes, and except for all the scary news, it has some really cool maps on it...so that can't be all bad...

But...I got the ol' CNN headache, so I decided to see if any one company has tried doing "good" news, and whatdoyaknow...there is one and it's called GNN  here is the website   http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/  Check it out...

Thanks a bunch to Art for sending me his website, and in the interest of fairness, I'll post that website also, and the grand experiment is this...

http://www.globalincidentmap.com/home.php

Check out both, and see how you feel when you're done...  by the way...that is the size of the print in Art's email...and I don't add any more value to it because it is huge...

Hope I haven't bored you all...that's enough of all of this...

The sky is lighting up in the east, the waves are crashing, the air is just right temp, and the little kitty down below wants me to toss down a couple of crusts of bread...
